Currently the CFIG in running 1 GRDC Funded Research Project, which is in two parts.

GRDC CFG2 Research Project

Part 1. Precision Farming for Profit

This project is run by the CFIG with 8 trial sites based locally looking at whether the investment in DGPS Guidance systems and yield mapping can be justified through increased profits. The Department of Agriculture WA and Professor Bob Gilkes (UWA) are colaborating with the CFIG on this project and are providing strong technical input to it. Their involvement is much appreciated.

Part 2. Beneficial Endophytes.

This project is being run by Dr. Margaret Roper from the CSIRO. The CFIG has provided a portion of it's funding to help continue the project which has been running locally on Valema Farms.
